How do I upload an MS Access database using FrontPage?

In order for your database application to function properly when you have FrontPage enabled, you cannot use FTP to transfer the database file. You must follow the procedure below to import the database.

  1. You will need to use the import function. (File -> import)
    (You may have to expand the menu to see the Import function.)
  2. Select Add File.
  3. Select your database file from the dialog box.
  4. Import to the directory of your choice.
  5. When asked if you want to create a database connection, respond yes.
