3. DotNetPanel Billing System Setup

1. Payment Settings

a. Credit Card Payment Method

When you want to enable credit card payment, make sure you already signup for merchant account at authorize.net or paypal pro.

- Login to DotNetPanel

- Hover on Ecommerce Admin and click Ecommerce Admin.

- Click on Credit Card Payments to enable it

- Authorize.net option

Fill in Username, Transaction Key, MD5 Hash Value, Merchant Email

Tick on Send Confirmation: and live mode

Click save setting

- Paypal Pro

Fill in Username, password, signature

and tick on live mode

click save setting

 

b. 2Checkout Payment Method

When you want to enable  2Checkout Payment , make sure you already signup for merchant account at 2Checkout.

- Login to DotNetPanel

- Hover on Ecommerce Admin and click Ecommerce Admin.

- Click on 2Checkout Payments to enable it

- Fill in the sercet word, 2co account

- Select on 2co currency

- Tick on live mode

- Click save setting

 

c. PayPal Account Payment Method

When you want to enable PayPal Account Payment, make sure you already signup for merchant account at paypal.

- Login to DotNetPanel

- Hover on Ecommerce Admin and click Ecommerce Admin.

- Click on PayPal Account Payments to enable it

- Enter paypal email address

- Tick on live mode

- Click save setting

 

d. Offline Payment Method

You have to input Transaction Number Format, such as 'manual' or 'offline'.

 

 

2. Domain Registrar Setting

Make sure you already signup your domain reseller account with one of this domain resellers: enom or directi.

a. enom account

- Login to DotNetPanel

- Hover on Ecommerce Admin and click Ecommerce Admin.

- Click on Enom Registrar to enable it

- Fill in username, password

- Tick on live mode

- Click save setting

 

b. directi account

- Login to DotNetPanel

- Hover on Ecommerce Admin and click Ecommerce Admin.

- Click on Directi Registrar to enable it

- Fill in username, password, parent id

- Tick on live mode

- Click save setting

 

3. Modify Currency/Invoice Format/SSL/Automation

You can modify the currency format, using SSL or not, adding infoice number format, and set

Invoice Grace Period is the period after which service will be suspended if it does not paid;

Service Invoice Threshold is threshold in days to invoice customer's service before it's expiration date;

Service Cancel Threshold is threshold in days to cancel customer's service after it's expiration date;

 

So if we set

Invoice Grace Period (in days): 3

Service Invoice Threshold (in days): 7

Service Cancel Threshold (in days): 2

And the account expiration is at January 15

 

Client will get invoice notification at January 7

Client account will be suspended at January 17

Client account will be deleted at January 18

 

4. Modify Terms And Conditions

You can add your webhosting terms and conditions according to your needs.

You can take a look at your competitor's terms and policies, adapt, find more at internet and make your own terms and policies.

 

5. Modify Storefront Welcome Message

You can add your wellcome message for your online store. Add marketing words so you can attract and confince customer to buy your hosting.

 

6. Set your Email Notification

You HAVE to set your email notification before selling your web hosting. Remember, all email notifications is using our templates.

 

7. Setup Category

a. Login to DotNetPanel

b. Hover on Ecommerce Admin and click Category.

c. Click Create Category

d. Fill in

Category Name - here you can enter category name that will appear in storefront catalog.

Category SKU - unique stock keeping unit code for the category. Enter here abbreviated category code.

Parent Category - list of categories that can be assigned as parent for the category you're creating. If this category is root then select "Select parent..." first item in the list. You can use this list to move category from one parent to another when editing category.

Short Description - short category description text

Full Description - full category description text

e. Click "Create Category" button to add new category.

 

8. Setup Billing Cycles

a. Login to DotNetPanel

b. Hover on Ecommerce Admin and click Billing Cycles.

c. Click Create Billing Cycle

d, Fill in Billing Cycle Name and Billing Periods

e. Click Create Billing Cycle

 

9. Setup Hosting Plan

This is different from creating hosting plan, this setup is to integrate hosting plan and billing cycle for your online store.

a. Login to DotNetPanel

b. Hover on Ecommerce Admin and click Create Hosting Plan.

c. Select Plan Name, Initial Status, and Domain Option

d. Fill in Product SKU

e. Select Plan Intends For and Plan Status:

f. Select Billing Cycle and click Add

g. Set billing price for selected billing

h. Assign to one of the categories

i. Click Create Hosting Plan

 

10. Setup Hosting Addon

a. Login to DotNetPanel

b. Hover on Ecommerce Admin and click Create Hosting Plan.

c. Select Plan Name, Initial Status, and Domain Option

d. Fill in Product SKU

e. Select Plan Intends For and Plan Status:

f. Select Billing Cycle and click Add

g. Set billing price for selected billing

h. Assign to one of the categories

i. Click Create Hosting Addon
