Is there anything I should do prior to requesting my web hosting account cancellation?

After your account is canceled, we will delete all web site files and emails off of our system. We recommend that you download your entire web site and download all your email off of our mail servers prior to requesting cancellation.

We also recommend that you provide your email contacts with an alternative email address to reach you.
